Shorts Movie – Unfortunately It Wasn’t Short Enough

This year has been full of funny, exciting, leave-the-theatre-with-a-smile-on-your-face kids movies: Hotel For Dogs, Coraline, Hannah Montana, and Harry Potter 6…just to name a few. Unfortunately Shorts (starring Jimmy Bennett) really fell short.
The movie was filmed in five parts — called shorts — kind of like a five act play. Only this film, told the story completely out of order. The writers were trying something new. But it just didn’t work. While Shorts was intended for a kid audience, it was WAY too silly and ridiculous for parents to enjoy. It didn’t offer any adult humor.
