Lance Armstrong Lives Strong on Tour de France
Well he might not have won the Tour de France but Lance Armstrong proved he’s no cycling slouch, even at the age of 38. It wasn’t exactly the ‘in your face’ many of his fans hoped Armstrong would give those who’ve accused him of taking steroids, but it is quite an accomplishment. There were 180 other riders who started the Tour de France and Armstrong just started training professionally again late in 2008. And during that time he broke his collarbone, which slowed him down for sure. He finished 5:24 behind Alberto Contador.
