I don’t know about you but we in the kidzworld.com sports room can’t wait to see the unlikely second round NHL playoff matchup between the Washington Capitals and the Pittsburg Penguins. And more importantly the head-to-head match-up between the two players on the planet’s most coveted trading cards: Alexander Ovechkin and Sidney Crosby.
It’s really a big surprise that these two superstars are going to get a sniff of each other in the NHL playoffs at all, especially considering the 3-1 hole the Capitals found themselves in during their first round match up against the New York Rangers. But low and behold, it’s a reality with the series set to begin on Saturday, May 2 in Washington.
