You’re the one

Posted by Asmi on 30th September 2009

Here’s a song writen by one of my very close friend. I thought it was lovely and wanted to share it with everyone. :)

Laying on my bed wishing that you were here,
Staring at the ceiling it all becomes clear,
I have never felt this way ever before,
I just want to hold on to you more and more.

Every day I fall more in love with you,
Every single word of this is so true,
I can’t stand the thought of this feeling gone,
To take it away from would be wrong.

You are,
The girl that I want
And you are,
The girl that I need
You’re the girl I can never keep my mind off of
Yes my baby you are,
You’re the one.

I can always count on you,
To put a smile on my face when I’m feeling blue,
You’re the most beautiful thing I have seen,
You’ll never know how much you mean to me.

You are,
The girl that I want
And you are,
The girl that I need
You’re the girl I can never keep my mind off of
I don’t care what anyone else says.
You’re the one.

Posted by Nathaniel Edwards on 28th July 2009

Here’s a full list of sports in Wii Sports Resort, because we couldn’t fit one into the news post:

  • Swordplay
  • Table Tennis
  • Frisbee Dog and Frisbee Golf
  • Golf
  • Bowling
  • Wakeboarding
  • Power Cruiser (Jet Ski)
  • Basketball (3 point shootout and 3-on-3)
  • Archery
  • Cycling
  • Air Sports (including dogfights between two planes!)

Though the game comes with one MotionPlus accessory, make sure you pick up at least one more for the multiplayer.

Tour de France: Contador Wins, Armstrong Third

Lance Armstrong Lives Strong on Tour de France

Lance Armstrong Lives Strong on Tour de France

Well he might not have won the Tour de France but Lance Armstrong proved he’s no cycling slouch, even at the age of 38. It wasn’t exactly the ‘in your face’ many of his fans hoped Armstrong would give those who’ve accused him of taking steroids, but it is quite an accomplishment. There were 180 other riders who started the Tour de France and Armstrong just started training professionally again late in 2008. And during that time he broke his collarbone, which slowed him down for sure. He finished 5:24 behind Alberto Contador. I’m with the experts who say watch out for Armstrong on the Tour de France next year.

Arcade-Style Fighting Game Sticks

Posted by Nathaniel Edwards on 17th July 2009

PS3 Fighting Stick, Arcade-style

We talked about King of Fighters XII on the news post today on Kidzworld, and how you might want an arcade-style stick to use with the game. Well, here are a few links to the kind of sticks I’m talking about:

for PS3: This one and this one will both work for you, and they’re both between 30 and 40 dollars in cost.

for Xbox 360: Right here is your best bet. $60, though, so only buy it if you’re really into the fighting games you play.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Was Worth the Wait

Posted by panaura on 16th July 2009

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood PrinceWhen Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight knocked Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince out of it’s November 2008 release slot, it was a devastating blow. But I must admit, the film was worth the wait. Harry Potter 6 was unlike all the other movies…in a very good way. It didn’t feel rushed, squeeze, condensed or compounded. It was pure perfection. The teenage-turned-20-something cast has evolved, especially the terrific trio. And best of all, love is in the air.
