Valentines Day
Posted by Asmi on March 6th, 2010
So I saw “Valentine’s Day” the movie today, a romantic-comedy starring too many actors to list but let me just name a few; Julia Roberts, Ashton Kutcher, Jamie Fox and Jennifer Garner. It was a not so good movie, not that entertaining at all but I kind of liked it. Some of the stories in the movie were interesting, although, they weren’t that different from any other Hollywood movie story but I kind of liked the way the actors interact and stuff in it. None of the actors have done the kind of job that would be noticed but they didn’t overact or not act much apart from Taylor Swift. I don’t know if it’s me or her role in the movie, but I really got annoyed every time she came on the screen. I really don’t like girls like her; the character she played. I liked Julia Robert’s part too, it was very cool. I always like the idea of meeting people and having a good time talking to them at the airport or in a plane. Ashton’s part was kind of sad, it just sucks how things don’t go the way we hope or expect them to go sometimes and that just hurts a lot sometimes. Anne Hathway’s part was a bit disturbing but I guess it was different, a little, and kind of interesting.
But anyway, the bottom line is that the movie sucked, I expected a lot from this movie but it was a disappointment. I haven’t watched a movie with several stories in them that are linked together in a long while. I think the last movie I saw like that was “He’s Just Not That into You”. And of course, how can I forget to mention “Love Actually” when I’m talking about romantic-comedies. Just one of those amazing romantic-comedies that we don’t get to watch every day.
Apart from that, I did nothing today. I was home all day, woke up at 6:30 pm, had dinner and now here I am doing nothing just writing about a bad movie and thinking about things I should be trying to forget. Oh! I forgot to mention the part about the movie that I really liked it was where the old guy, what’s his face-whatever it is, was telling or I’m not really sure…see, this is how bad that movie was, I can’t even remember the best part I thought about the movie! Anyway, it was something about how in love you accept someone for everything they are, not just they’re looks and likes and dislikes, you accept them for whole. For everything that makes them, them. And I think that’s really true, that’s what true love is in my opinion; when you want them for everything they are and everything they will be in future. Nothing changes how you feel about them no matter what. That’s true love.
With that being said, I’m gonna stop writing now and try to do something with my boring life. Until then, we shall meet again my friends. Bubye!
